AVB
A family of IEEE Audio Video Bridging technologies that provides time-aware transport and resource reservation on compatible Ethernet networks.
Setup
- Products and profiles differ, so an AVB label alone does not guarantee end-to-end interoperability; switches, clocks, bandwidth, stream formats, and configuration must align.
Venue contexts
- Theatre, concerts, festivals, broadcast, and corporate events, as applicable
Signal flow
- Confirm the source, patch, transport, control, and destination for the system involved.
In practice
Products and profiles differ, so an AVB label alone does not guarantee end-to-end interoperability; switches, clocks, bandwidth, stream formats, and configuration must align.
